Amanda has been counselling individuals, couples and families for fifteen years. Most clients present with concerns about relationships, anxiety and depression, grief and loss or addiction. At times they need help adjusting to new life stages such as turning 30 for a female or 40 for a male, the birth of a child, unemployment or retirement.
In counselling clients acquire the skills to change how they feel about themselves, particularly in terms of their relationships, careers and health. Through focussing on feelings and goals, clients begin to understand themselves better and to discover what they want out of life.
Couples can turn their relationship around and learn how to resolve areas of conflict through just a few sessions of counselling.
In February 2012 Amanda moved her Melbourne practice to the Mornington Peninsula and is no longer accepting new clients.
